Before any balloons are ordered, we spend time understanding the occasion and the person it's for. A seventh birthday party for a dinosaur-obsessed child has a completely different energy to a 40th birthday celebration for someone who loves botanical prints. Both deserve styling that actually reflects the moment.
We put together a style board (colours, textures, key props, balloon palette) so you can see where we're going before we commit to anything. Once you've approved the direction, we source everything, build the display and arrive to install it. On the day, you don't touch a single thing we're responsible for.
What's included
Organic garlands, balloon arches, column displays, clusters and air-filled table confetti. We work with your colour palette and scale the display to the space. Every balloon arrangement is assembled on-site so it fits the venue properly.
Layered table dressing with linens, runners, charger plates and centrepieces. Whether you want maximalist blooms or something pared-back and graphic, the tables tie the whole look together. We style the guest tables and any additional feature tables.
A styled treat table is one of the most photographed parts of any celebration. We build the display around a focal cake (which we can source for you), adding tiered stands, sweet jars, cake pops and branded tags that match your theme.
Props & backdrops
The best party photos come from backdrops that were actually designed to be photographed. We build balloon walls, fabric panel backdrops and frame backdrops sized to the venue. The kind of backdrop that guests naturally gravitate towards for a picture.
We also bring event signage: welcome boards, seating charts, personalised name boards and age number stands. Every piece is printed or painted to coordinate with the colour scheme, so nothing looks thrown together at the last minute.
Small details matter too: table number cards, balloon weights, ribbon ties, confetti table scatter, favour packaging. We source and prepare these as part of the styling package so the room looks finished from every angle.
Props hire
The hire collection is available as a standalone option or as part of a full styling package. We deliver, you use, we collect. No trips to the car boot on Sunday morning.
Set-up and pack-down
One of the most common questions is: what do I need to do on the day? The honest answer is nothing — at least not for our part of things. We agree a set-up window with the venue in advance (usually two to three hours before guests arrive), build everything, do a final check, and leave well before anyone shows up.
After the celebration, we return for pack-down. Balloon displays, backdrop frames, hire items, table dressing. It all comes with us. You don't need to spend the evening after a party dismantling a balloon arch and bundling it into bin bags.
To give you a sense of the range: a Safari adventure kids' party in a village hall, a Tropical Flamingo baby shower in a hotel function room, a 1970s Disco 50th birthday at a marquee, a Botanical Garden christening, a Woodland Fairy first birthday, and a Retro Carnival 18th. Every one started with a conversation, a moodboard and an agreed budget.
We don't have a catalogue of fixed themes to pick from. We create styling specific to the person and the occasion, which is why the result looks cohesive rather than generic.
Styling packages are priced based on the size of the venue, the number of elements involved and the hire items required. A focused styling package for a small gathering (balloon arch, treat table, backdrop) starts at a straightforward rate; a full room installation for a large milestone birthday is quoted individually. We'll give you a clear breakdown in the proposal so you can see exactly what you're getting.
